Alhassan Andani, the Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank started his banking career at the then SSB Bank Limited in 1984, rising to become the Regional Project Manager, Upper Regions in 1987. He later joined Standard Institute of Marketing Ghana named Andani the Marketing Man of the Year 2014. Andani is an alumnus of the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme, and holds an
International Management Certificate from INSEAD, Chartered Bank, and by December 1995
Andani was the Regional Manager, Domestic Corporate. In April 2000, he Fontainbleau, France, a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from FINAFRICA, Milan, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of joined Barclays Bank Ghana as Executive Director, Corporate Banking, becoming Deputy Managing Director in 2004. Between July 2005 and March 2006, Andani was Ghana, Legon. Alhassan Andani is a member of the Board of Directors of Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited, Chairman of Director, Non- Presence Countries, Barclays Africa.
With Alhassan Andani at the helm, the bank has significantly improved its service delivery system and increased its footprints from 3 to 39 branches, 106 ATMs across the country. In recognition of this, the Chartered StanLib Ghana and President of the Ghana Association of Bankers.
